It provides training to these vendors every 18 months and conducts periodic site inspections. WIC Vendor Management seeks a manager Application and Reauthorization Processing to coordinate vendor contracting, application and reauthorization process, schedule routine, ad hoc and initial training, analyze vendor record for termination, aid director in fair hearing preparation, supervise Vendor Liaisons, develop training materials, and statistically analyze vendor performance.
In addition, the Manager Application and Reauthorization Processing will:
- Evaluate completed applications and reauthorizations
- Schedule monitoring visits and assist Vendor Liaisons with onsite monitoring
- Oversee vendor enrollment
- Conduct vendor training sessions
- Work with state agencies, other Vendor Accountants, preparers and lawyers and NYS personnel

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with State Agencies
- Knowledge of WIC program
- Ability to communicate in another language, Spanish preferred, and with diverse groups
- Experience training large groups
- Supervisory and supermarket experience desirable
